The silence emanating from Worst Street over the Morrison's closure, is deafening. Clearly, this latest bit of bad news does not fit in at all well with the recent gushy statements made by Bedford and his sycophants that Boston provides a vibrant and exciting place in which to do business. The Lidl debacle represents one of the finest examples of how adept petty and inept bureaucrats can sometimes be at shooting themselves and their constituents in the foot.
It is shocking but profoundly revealing, that the Cabinet and it's august leader have not even had the common decency to publicly comment about the Morrison's closure nor to sympathise with the soon to be out of work employees.
